Ellie loves navigating the New York metropolitan area by it’s public transit! Peekskill NY is located 35 miles north of New York City, and is accessible by the Hudson line on the Metro North. The Peekskill Metro North station is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute Uber to the hotel. Sitting on the west side of the train reveals beautiful views of the Hudson River ⛵️

Important note- Metro North has 3 distinct lines that do not intersect above Harlem 125th St. Remember to take the HUDSON Line (not the Harlem or New Haven lines). It’s the green one!

take the M60 SBS bus to Harlem 125th St and transfer to the Metro North Hudson line to Peekskill

Newark

take the NJ Transit Rail to Penn Station New York. Walk or subway to Grand Central Station to take the Metro North Hudson line to Peekskill.
Fun tip- walk from Penn to Grand Central and explore Midtown Manhattan.
Check out MSG and Bryant Park. Walk up 6th Ave to avoid Times Square, or go up 7th Ave if you dare…

take the AirTrain to Jamaica and transfer to the LIRR to Grand Central Station to transfer to the Metro North Hudson line to Peekskill.
Fun tip- check out the TWA Hotel at Terminal 5 if you’re into planes and/or the 60’s

Alternative

Rent a car and see more of the Hudson Valley! Nearby attractions include Bear Mountain State Park, Storm King Art Center, and the Palisades Mall (!)
If flying into Westchester Airport, it is advised to rent a car, since Westchester Airport does not easily connect to the Hudson Line Metro North.
